West Central IA | for the future you need to find a gandy box and lay some tubes into the throat of the baler and put some inoculant on the hay. I have baled a lot of iffy hay with that and it keeps just fine. some will turn slight brown, but most you can still see the color of the blooms. Then you can just handle it like regular hay and do not put it in a building. I started doing this probably 30 years ago. I would use about 1.5 to 2 #'s of inoculant per bale. | |
