Liberty, MO | There is several miles of that cable system on I-70,between KCMO and STLMO, a little bit of it north of KCMO on I-35 too. I have seen several, times that the cable system saved lives and very seldom has the wreck entered into the other lanes, yes the cable system when sideswiped can get knocked down, but usually they stop in the median. I’ve even seen the top cable up against the windshield, but the 2 lower cables prevented the car-truck from entering the other lanes.
Sorry for long post, they are a necessary thing in this day and age just My opinion. | |
