30 Miles Northwest of Columbus Ohio | When I was a kid, dad would pull a packer with a pull type rotary hoe behind it. Corn and beans would be maybe 3-4 inches high. Give rolling a try.
In the 70s my brother and I would pull a cultimulcher with a drill behind it and spray all in one pass. Perfect weed control great seedbed and the rocks were all pushed in the ground. An even 40 bushel beans across the board. Great combining.
I think the spray fell on moist soil and a activated it.
