You didn't have time to do a jar test the first time, I'd make time to do as many jar tests as you need to now. If it was me, I'd try by diluting it 1:1 with warm water, in a JAR, then 2:1, whatever you're willing to do. Lowering the ph, etc. any number of jars you can test now. I'd mix it up a bit, or get a representative sample of the water and suspension, for the tests.
