With the fish and the plants?
I'm stuck here in the Philippines for the next few years and looking for a hobby. I'm not sure it would be economically viable, but i still need something to do to fill my time. And, I would enjoy some better quality vegetables here.
I have an empty lot that measures 50 ft x 60 ft.
Interestingly, farmland here is about $20,000 an acre.
Very few tractors here, a few 6 ft disk hooked to a tractor sometimes. But planting, harvest, fertilizing, all done by hand.
I've been looking for a few acres to put a small hog operation up. I was planning on using the manure as fertilizer. But everytime i mention hogs, everyone here assumes i want a place by the river so I can dump the manure in the river.... Backwards people here. It really is sad.
