Interesting,
I never understood the “Roll Calibration”.
My Trimble guy has talked about it.
What happens when the AB line is set going different directions?
I have set the A on one end and drove 3/4 mile turned around and set the B.
This seems to mess things up also.
It seems simple enough.
It does not really work for some reason?
If the roll calibration is off does this make things worse?

Roll calibration is for the T2 box to keep the tractor on the line when the tractor is leaning to the side.     The roll calibration is a step by step process that the screen leads you through.

If you set A on your first pass and don't set B on the same pass your line is going to be at an angle to your first pass.   The AB line is simply a line between 2 points.   It shouldn't matter which direction the tractor is facing when you set B, all that matters is the location of the receiver because honestly the antennae doesn't even know which direction the tractor is facing without you telling it.
