IMO its a lot tougher to trim bushels at that stage than a lot of guys think, but that corn has lost potential. Quite a bit in fact. However I remember some corn around here looking like that in 2012 and caught a 3.5" rain right before it pollinated and it still turned out halfway respectable for the ground it was on. I actually went back to that field a week after the rain and couldn't believe it was the same field. I've never seen corn come back from the dead like that before. There was better ground not far away that didn't catch that rain that was a goose egg come fall. All that to say with the right weather it could be surprising what it will do yet, but you're running on borrowed time for that weather for sure.
