Nebraska | This has been on my mind for a couple years now. I need a 5-600 gallon 3pt. Mounted sprayer. 60-90 foot booms I'm thinking. I plant with a 16r30 planter so what size booms works best? I want to be able to spray my own pastures and alfalfa and post spray some corn and beans. Pull types are probably cheaper and more gallon capacity but the hills I farm get steep and the implement drifting can run over 2 rows pretty often so thinking 3 point would be nice. Have a dualed up 8200 to put it on so plenty of tractor for 500 gallons I would think.
Looked at demco online but don't know other brands to check out. Don't need anything fancy like section control I'll be able to do that good enough manually for what I need, and I have autosteer which will really make this setup work good I'm thinking.
Thanks. This spray season is so short lived but can be so demanding it's tough to keep up getting it done by others all the time. | |
