Subject: RE: Tedder Kuhn or Vermeer

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251

We run two Vermeer 2510 tedders, and there are several others running around the area.  We have a good dealer which helps.  We have had very good luck with them.  If you buy one, make sure you get one of the outside wheels set up with the teeth that you can index in and out with the little spring loaded latches.  That allows you to change the pitch of the outer most wheel teeth so you don't throw the tedded hay into the fence on the first round.  After one round, you just stop and move the teeth back to the normal operating position without tools.  Nice feature that was standard for a while, but I think you have to request it now on the last one we bought.  The dealer will know what I am talking about.

They are easy to adjust in the field, and have held up great.
