SE SD | Quite a bit done in this area. Just had a field of mine done today. Corn is waist to chest high. Put on 40 pounds with a stabilizer. This is after I took soil tests to see how much N I had available. Done it once before and it seems like as long as the plants are good and dry and not wet from rain or dew you won't have much burn. Possibly some stuck in the whirl could burn a little but not terrible. Probably wouldn't be my first method choice to apply more N but it's the fastest and don't have the ability to do liquid. | |
