| 9570 STS with a 30' head running 60-70 bushel wheat.
I have never been able to get a clean bin sample with this thing. I have had the fan turned up as high as a thousand RPMs and still chaff in the sample but by then I'm blowing kernels out over the back. I've run fast rotor and slow rotor, tight concave and very open concave and nothing changes. Is that just the way these things are or can they do better?
I have run small wire concaves in it and I'm currently running the Estes rpr concave with the front three inserts in. Top chaffer I am running at 18 and the bottom sieve I run anywhere from 4 to 7. Moisture is about 14% with test weight at 55. Any help or ideas would be appreciated | |
