Subject: Head Mover for MacDon FD2XX Draper Head

NW Iowa
I've gotten my FD235 head home and it's going to be a challenge to modify the trailer to accept the head properly. The deeper draper bed is making it too wide to sit on there like my 2162/FD70 did. My trailer is a MD StudKing 38' trailer. I have the draper head bucket mounts on the trailer but you can't support it by the adapter or it makes the cutterbar side completely unsupported by the trailer frame. I'm thinking some sort of Up & Out mini frame is going to be required to catch the adapter and improve the positioning of the head on the trailer. If anyone has tackled this task please do share! Otherwise, If you're making this switch be ready for the challenge :)
