McCanna, ND | The blue tractor is in great shape, I’m the 2nd owner since I bought it a year or two ago. The thing is the blue tractor is likely still more reliable, mechanical fuel pump on engine, and cables for hydraulic outlets gets rid of two computer systems that the newer red tractors have.
Basically the blue tractor is our yard/light duty tractor, snowblower, augers, fertilizer spreader, roller, batwing mower, swather, etc is what it gets used for.
I have full service manuals for both series, but keeping less filters on hand is nice, and having identical cabs/gps systems is nice, just don’t know what to value it at. Usually we run machines until they are worth about scrap price.
280 has 2k hours, so is staying for a very long time. 250 I saw has literally basically the same hours
