McCanna, ND | Have a 6k hour blue 170hp FWA and also have a wrong color red 280HP FWA that is just a updated series of the blue 170hp machine. There is a 250hp machine listed for sale that would be identical to the 280 we have now except the HP difference.
Would it make sense to trade/sell the blue tractor for red? Tractors are spec’d the same except for HP, both have 380 rubber, same hyd pump size and 4 outlets. Blue has 4K more hours then the red one, and blue is ~15 years older. Red one will have more electronics, but goes a comfortable 20mph down the road throttled back to ~1550 and the blue is screaming pretty good at 16-17mph. If I did buy the red then both tractors would be matching years, same GPS system, just 30hp different. | |
