Faunsdale, AL | No need to disconnect battery….simply return switch to middle/hold position and then flip back to the direction you want it to go. This will initiate another timed cycle.
If the timer times out before the auger swings fully in or out, the auger is binding in the turret pivot, (grease it) cylinder bypassing oil internally (repack it)

You can usually hear the combine working to swing the auger if it’s still trying.
The original turret switch could only be adjusted to return
the hydraulic valve to the hold position in the fully extended and fully folded positions. The timer that replaced it is just that, a set duration timer that keeps the combine attempting to swing the auger until it counts down and shuts off…..or you return the switch on the console to the center position. | |
