SE MN | .8#/bu of yield goal applied commercial N with half side dressed NH3. OM 5-7%. Some turkey litter applied also but I don’t count on any N from that.
Cut your rate back on a couple passes and see how it goes. There are a lot of variables in this discussion as well. Is 230 a goal that you regularly achieve or something you are reaching for? Those last bushels get expensive. And if you regularly hit 230 and have potential for 275-300 it will probably take all that you are applying and then some on a year that allows your crop to reach that potential on a good year.
