Subject: Block barn tuck pointing?

Latimer, Iowa (north central)
We have a large block barn built in 1952 at the home place that the grout between blocks is coming out. It is worse in an area that previously had a lean too on it. Barn is in otherwise nice shape, haymow cleaned out, concrete inside. Block is still straight and intact. Only used for miscellaneous storage so not a high budget thing but want to keep from getting worse. Just like barns. How hard is it to tuck point yourself? I am comfortable with laying tile, grouting tile and pouring concrete. How much would hiring it done? Recommendations to fix?

Edit:spelling
