| I have a 1040 with the row crop/rocking bolster dual wheel set up. The inner tire is shot and I need to pull the frame that supports the rocking bolster. I thought it was just the bolts, but there is an inner sleeve also. How do you typically get that out? The sleeve doesn't move easy "tapping" it with a hammer.
Also, this is the bolster that want's to stick with the outer wheel up regardless of load. I spent a lot of time, heat and grease trying to free it up last winter and I didn't do a good enough job. Has anyone else run into this and did you just cut the pins at the joints and press them out? Can I use bar stock to replace them or do I need pins from kinze that may be chrome plated, heat treated and painted blue? thanks | |
