Dallas, South Dakota | Getting ready to install a new set of chromed rasp bars in the JD 9550. Any advice offered? I have the feeder house off. The bars do not appear to come as weight matched pairs. Just install lefts and rights and torque to 90 foot lbs. and do a static balance? I am also planning on updating the concave actuator to the new style. Actuator and Cam on order. Also planning on replacing upper feeder bearings and gears but the chain still has the half-link and appears good yet. Also going to replace the 3 plastic chain guides inside the top of the feeder house Just looking for any advice and thanks in advance. Been a damn good machine for us with no plans to get rid of her anytime soon. | |
