That kinda sounds like you planted wet. If that's the case even rain won't help. Not saying this is your case but I'd rather plant a month late than go on my clay wet. Nothing helps that (at least here).
You are right in what you are saying. Although it wasnt the case around here so much, but 7 Inches of rain in a week made concrete out of worked soil. |
