Not sure on your sprayer but don't forget the dump valve if you have one. On my sprayer I need to turn the valves on and unplug the power wire to keep it closed. The agitator valves need to be closed as was said earlier also. I have had the acorn nut erode away also. once had the impeller strip out so it spun on the shaft. weird because it worked intermittently. Filled the screen with shredded plastic.
