We have a male Australian shepherd that is an excellent watch dog. If your not supposed to be here, he's gonna let me or my wife know. We got him at a year old and he bonded with us and our other dog fast, those two dogs have had strangers pull up in the yard and not let them out of the car, and I'm fine with that.
