I don't mean to insult or offend you but have you really thought about this and put a pencil to it? Trucking is a brutal business and there is always someone willing to haul it for less than it will cost you. With fuel and supply issues that only complicates things. I would suggest you find a good outfit with good trucks and hire on with them for a year or two. You will learn a lot and might just find out that you can make more money with a lot less headaches that way than owning your own business. This sounds like something you and a friend cooked up over a few brews at the local tavern. Someone else mentioned that you had a custom harvesting business. How is that working out? Would you have time to do both?
