coast of Maine | So I got shorted on my replyI guess too long.Seems it cut off what I was saying financially.Take 250,000$ plus,,buy a rig or ten units..On that "investment" you will lose a 1000$ a week in equity ,,mostly wether you run or not,,,5 years later,, needs a rebuild etc,,worth south of 4o,ooo$,,your opportunity cost,interest etc means you have lost 1000$ a week since you started,,,X 10 trucks and 10,000$ a week.Here our Ag paid for being in the trucking biz..FMCSA is after you not the crooks who dont pay their bills.If you ave local contracts/contacts perhaps your results will be much better.I seem to think nothing dumber at the moment than trucking as all other companies are even hungrier. | |
