Subject: RE: Crumbler Round Bar vs Flat Bar

WC MN & Valley of the Sun, AZ
For MN sticky wet springs around here, every rolling basket should have left the factory with an internal scraper.

Have a 2210 with factory 2-bar drag plus round bar and it does an ok job but also usually pull another model 200 crumbler behind it. Now that the soil has dried out in late June, it works even better as a single implement.

A 2230 with hydraulic basket is a better machine and comes with the price to match. Kind of apples and oranges comparing the 2210 and 2230 finishing tools.

Flat bar with angle, like a smashed piece of angle iron, on a 875 ripper does very well in wet conditions right up until it doesn't. Then just use the hydraulics to adjust down pressure or raise it out of the ground... Just like a 2230.
