| Good evening, we had quite a bit of corn that was about knee high get green snap pretty bad, many fields over 50%, some well over. We have green snap insurance but due to the amount of claims in the area the Adjustor hasn’t made it out yet, been about 10 days since the wind damage. Today I noticed a lot of tiller plants where the stalks are broken, my question is, will these plants produce an ear? And will the insurance try to count them as a growing plant now? We’ve never had a green snap claim this early in the season so we don’t know what to expect. I can’t imagine the ear these smaller plants may put on would amount to much. We’re getting pretty dry here so not perfect growing conditions. Attached are some photos I took.
