Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

First, make sure the planter's 7" x 7" toolbar is level (while planter is in the ground) or just slightly "heading uphill" (towards tractor)

Make sure the settings, of the front coulter, are slightly higher than your planter's double disc openers' depth.

You need to have enough "frame weight" to push "All That Iron" into the ground, also.





note: years ago; I had to remove Dad's No-till coulters, from his JD7200 planter = too much iron to push into the soil, with his fixed row cleaners, also needing some extra frame weight, to hold them onto the soil/ground,  too.
