NC Iowa | the metal pan under the a-coil rusted a hole in it and needs to be replaced since water is going down into the fan. no room to even get in for a temporary repair. the hvac guy that installed it has retired and license expired, but will guide me through the repair if i get a new coil. he says it is not that hard to do, and i have done many auto ac repairs.
is there a online source for home ac parts that will sell the coil to me direct? the pic is of a similar one, but i have yet to locate the exact one online. apparently the new coils have a plastic pan that will not rust. too late to help on this one.
