Subject: Volunteer Corn

North Western IL
Is it worth spraying beans for volunteer corn? Old timers will say, “just more weight to sell.” I tend to think if it’s light, go out with a spade to take care of it. (Obviously we are not talking thousands of acres). Is there a rule of thumb to gauge when it is worth spraying? Thanks in advance.
