NW KS/ SC ID | I got my tarp used from I70 Ditch. Cost only my time. :)
I spotted it in the truck, and went through the area in the pickup a few days later. rightful owner obviously never came back, so I loaded it up.
Its a heavy one, has alot of patches and pinholes, so when I hauled seed for a friend 300 miles, I was able to double it up to ensure coverage.
Miserable to put on, but once you are done you are much less stressed knowing that big heavy bugger is going to keep it dry.
As far as tie down method, I have no idea what I am doing, and am watching this thread in hopes someone will post a helpful video link. :)
I did the best I could, just applied common sense on securing it and tucking in extra so wind wouldn't catch it and it turned out fine, but I am sure there is alot of tips and techniques out there the pros use that would have reduced my time and labor involved.
I ran 2" straps through the sewn in half rings to secure the load and the tarp, and used rubber bungee "tarp straps" and a couple 1" straps to secure slack at the grommets.
