| 1/4 mile each way is no big deal for a horizontal drill. I’d request the line be bored in and all equipment must sit on crane mats while on the easement. Connection fees for a tap or two waived now and into the future and lawyers Fees paid to review everything and to ensure it’s only for a water main and hydrant. Also spell out how future repairs will work.
Not sure how much compensation your going to get. Any compensation is just from you the taxpayer. After the bore pits are planted over and it’s bored in deep enough, you’ll never even know the line is there. | |
