SouthCentral WI | "You make your offer and they can accept or reject."
So, why have an auction? I'd go further an state, since when is an auction held so you can decide if you wish to sell an item or not?
I came to your auction to compete against other buyers, not the seller.
If you have a price you want to sell it for, just sell it. Don't waste my time. That is where my complaint comes in.
I see your add, if it doesn't have a price, I don't bother calling.
If it has a price, I decide if it is worth looking at or not.
If you have an auction , then I assume the market will set the price. Not the whim of the seller.
I also assume "as is where is". If I miss seeing damage, that's on me. The deal has already been struck. I'll live with my errors.
Now if I drive 500 miles to check out your pristine tractor and it's a pile, I probably won't be happy. That's the price you pay in buying used equipment
This whole internet excuse thing is for the birds. You make deals at your own peril. If you're too busy or lazy to check out the deal you agreed on, that's on you.
