I bet if you look close there are only about two threads left in the pump housing, usually it is really tough to get the plugs started again since there isn’t much left, if I were you I would get a new discharge housing on hand as it won’t be long before it wears right thru the side of the housing, seen that many times in my years working on sprayers, usually a pump can wear out two discharge housings and then the rest of the housing is worn too and time to replace the pump.
