| A very disturbing subject. A few years ago I saw a post someplace from a parent of a "homeless" person pleading with people to quit giving cash to the beggars, the beggars were using the cash for drugs instead of food. The cash donations were enabling their kid to stay on drugs. A couple of years ago I took several loads into the downtown Minneapolis area. At the end of a exit ramp off of the interstate, the grass was worn out alongside of the exit ramp by the beggars. There was a McDonald's across the road with a huge Help Wanted sign. I noticed one day there was a beggar wear shoes that were way more expensive than the work shoes I had on. They looked like NEW Air Jordan hi top BB shoes. | |
