You will need to go into the 800 monitor and go to gps settings. Next to the gps name (6500 ? 7500? ) there should be a small wrench for settings. Under port B, make sure settings are turned on.

I dont know for certain what your pro 700 is expecting, but i think think the following should be close:

38,400
5hz
GGA, VTG, GSV

I found a generic picture online of what port B looks like via the ag screen. Your settings may not look exactly like what is shown in photo....but hopefully you get the idea.

If after turning on the NMEA strings still doesn't do the trick, you may need to remove the null modem adapter. It's possible once you remove the adapter you may need to put a gender changer in if the genders do not match up.
