Southern MN in the pothole between the hills | The small tank sets work perfectly fine, but as stated, they're going to run out fast. They're basically limited to heating up bolts and making small cuts. Keep in mind that acetylene tanks are not supposed to be withdrawn at more than 1/7th it's capacity an hour, or you risk withdrawing the acetone the acetylene is dissolved in. If you've got 1 stuck bolt out in the middle of nowhere, they're quick and portable though. |
