Our biggest problem with that is these feed brokers and custom operators. All they want to do is park down at these big feedlots and say to hell with the rest of us medium size outfits. Getting a hay grinder or a forage chopper over here to grind or chop for us anymore is about impossible. No point in having a business like that and leave 2/3s of the people on the table.

We have hay grinders that hit all size outfits, silage guys want a minimum because it takes a lot of money just to turn the machine on. What’s medium size? A small feedlot here is 5-10k
Capitalism is great when it benefits you but sucks when it don’t. Keep rolling and make it work it’ll pay or it won’t who knows?
I’ve come accustom to drought and it doesn’t bother me much anymore, is what it is. If I wanted guaranteed rain I’d move east.
Drought sucks but atleast I’m not having to shoot commies, it’s a plush life. Quit bitching.
