I'll have to disagree somewhat. I had a 2011 8680, traded it for a 2014 8690. The 8680 pulled as good or better than the 8690 pulling the same implement. Then had a 1997 8870 FNH, traded it for a 2013 7624. I was disappointed how much less the 7624 pulled compared to the FNH. Non of these have been chipped or turned up.
Similar experience. My '12 8680 was a hot rod up to 33 MPH on a tanker. My 8737 that replaced it dumps a bunch of power once you get over 15 or 16 mph. Transmission tuning must be the issue. Doesn't matter the settings. |
