| I got to the field thinking everything was going to work as it did upon testing. But, I made 1/4 of an outside round of a 32 A field and my reel starts slowing down. At about 1/2, I turn the reel speed all the way up, but it hardly makes any difference, so I just go slower. At 3/4 of the way, the header drive belt on the left side starts smoking, so I shut it down. Today, I tighten the belt, change headers, to a flex head, and take off. Everything looks good at first. Then it happens again. After about 4 minutes, the reel slows down and gets slower and slower. I shut it down before the smoke this time. I take the shields off underneath and the pulley on the hydraulic pump on the feeder housing is very hot and shows heat damage to the paint. Anyone know what's up? | |
