| My sister had terminal cancer last year. Her decision to have hospice was easy, the medical people had done all they could for her, we called hospice and they came that day to evaluate my sisters condition and came up with the plan for her. The value that hospice added was pain management, kept us informed of what was to happen, was so professional during the in home visits. Our mother died of brain cancer in 1992 without hospice and it was way more painful for her and us to watch. They earned every penny as far as we were concerned
