Subject: Lithium batteries - a messy process

ND

Search how lithium is mined, it is a very difficult and costly process.  A brine process or mining.
It takes 500 tons of earth to get 1 ton of lithium.  It is messy process using sulfuric acid.
The world's largest producers are in Australia, Chile and China.
