East of Broken Bow | I just got done replacing doors.
There is a special trim for the door bottoms, it is L shaped, and heavier than regular trim/flashing. You put it on the bottom board first, then bring the ribbed steel down to about the mid-point of the bottom 2X6. The flashing is behind the ribbed steel, flat against the board, and the roller rides against that, below the ribbed steel.
It is a special trim piece, heavier than normal, and I'm guessing with better paint/finish as it seems to take a while for the paint to wear off. | |
