Here is what my door guide looks like. My doors have a frame and the bottom has a two-inch channel for the roller ball to guide the channel over the metal track. I added the little wheel on the inside bottom the keep the double sliding doors from hitting each other, but that would also keep the door from hitting the metal cladding if it had a smooth line to roll on.
