central mich | Interstate McBee and many others. We are a dealer for Interstate so that is all we use and sell. I can not believe Cat would not have those parts. Something is wrong. Is it a PC or direct? PC are getting a little old.
But we would not use Cat as they are too expensive. Cat parts is late to the party much of the time anyway. Back in the day we used rebuiid Cat 3208. The Cat OEM two ring piston tended to burn oil with not that much use. Interstate had a 3 ring piston years before Cat offered the three ring.
Same thing with gaskets Cat was late to offer improved gasket sealing compared to Interstate.
Interstate is very big in fuel parts as they are the only authorized rebuilder for Alco locomotive injectors or at least was for many years. The also offer Detroit Diesel 149 engine parts which can be hard to find.
