Virginia
I have a 7200 me2 conservation planter. The main beam is heavier, and the info on lift cylinder is correct. I have 4 cylinders where a regular has 2 I believe.
If I was you, I would buy the conservation planter than call pequa planters or cumberland planters and get any parts or upgrades you need. Also shoup is good place to buy things also.
My planter was plumb wore out, I bought used from local deere dealer. Paid $7500 I believe. I've got around 11-12k in it now, not counting fertilizer, but I have completely rebuild everything, down to the chains. ( good shop project)
Your right, there is quite a premium on the conservation versions. A neighbor has a 7000 regular and is nowhere as heavy as my conservation planter.
