A weedzapper can be very effective in ragweed if the weeds are above the crop canopy. Problem is you'll have to make multiple passes to keep knocking the ragweed back that's hiding below the canopy. That dang stuff germinates all year long and doesn't care if there are tall weeds above it. But, if chemicals aren't working for you anymore it is an option.
