I don't think I've ever seen corn this small this early rolling. Only had 6.5" total this yr. I dug a couple post holes and there is enough moisture down to make a damp ball in my hand. We have enough to keep it in a vegetative state, but not enough for grain fill. Cold early and hot now with no rain corn should be over waist high, knee to thigh now. That late rain in last week of july and first part of august made everyone's corn and beans last. Driest i have seen it. Time will tell
