Getter done as fast as you can! I watched Doc do both of mine, they had it on video and monitor was turned so I could watch. The actual procedure is less than 10 minutes. Takes longer to prep you, Doc and I was joking while he performed the surgery. He told nurses don't let me watch the first one, as I would just go home and do the other myself. He was a John Deere fan, so he wrapped my dressing with green vet wrap. I told him I drove red tractors, however green was ok because I worked with cows. The green would blend in.

Just make sure you wear your hand splint at all times, told me I could do tasks I needed as long as I wore splint. He told me pain would stop me from doing something stupid. It will take quite a while to totally heal. I constantly had to change my dressing and vet wrap because I would get it dirty on the farm.
