| My wife had arthroscopic carpal tunnel surgery done on both hands ~30yrs ago. Hers were so bad her arms would go numb up to her shoulders. With arthroscopic surgery she had a 1.5” incision in the palm of her hand & a 1/2” incision on the underside of her wrist. She watch on a monitor as they did the surgeries. She was able to start doing things approx 3 days after surgery. She has not had any pain or issues since.
Should add, she had one wrist done then the other about 6 months later. I see you’re only having problems with one hand so shouldn’t be a problem but I would not recommend do both at once as there are certain hygiene practices you wouldn’t be able to do by yourself if doing both at once. | |
