Subject: RE: Mapping with Auto Steer

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
On my Trimble 750, the choice for mapping is based on 1) screen icon 2) auto steer 3) SWITCH. When I had it set to SWITCH it took its ques from the implement switch. I don't recall what would happen if I had an implement SWITCH but had it set to auto steer. I now no longer have need for an implement switch so it is set to auto steer.

If I had an implement switch but had it set to auto steer, I would think it would just follow auto steer for coverage mapping. Maybe I would have gotten a similar error message in effect saying "I see you have an implement switch connected, don't you want to use it?"

My suggestion would be to check the mapping setting and make certain it is set to SWITCH rather than auto steer. Then again the FMX may operate differently in this respect.
